Personal Profile -

Guiyun Liu, born in February 1972, is a Professor at the Maritime College of Ningbo University and holds a Ph.D. from Shanghai Maritime University. She is recognized as a Young and Middle-Aged Academic Leader in Colleges and Universities of Zhejiang Province, a Third-Tier Talent in the Zhejiang "151 Talent Project", a Second-Tier Candidate in Ningbo's Leading and Top Talent Training Project, and an Academic Leader in Philosophy and Social Sciences in Ningbo. Her research mainly focuses on port management as well as waterway transportation planning and management. She has principal-investigated or participated in more than 10 national and provincial-level research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and Key Soft Science Projects of Zhejiang Province, along with over 80 government and enterprise commissioned consulting projects. She has published over 60 papers in core peer-reviewed journals and authored 3 academic monographs. Her research achievements have earned her the First Prize of the National Advanced Productivity Theory and Practice Achievement Award (Monograph Class), the Third Prize of the China Port Science and Technology Award, and the First Prize of the Zhejiang Navigation Science and Technology Award.
