Personal Profile -

Dr. Jiapei Zhao, born in 1985, is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Thermophysics from Zhejiang University and completed his postdoctoral research at the University of Newcastle, Australia. He serves as a council member of the Zhejiang Provincial Society of Electric Machinery and Power, and a review expert for the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation and the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation. He is also a core member of the Ningbo "3315 Plan" Ship New Energy Innovation Team. Dr. Zhao has led one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one project by the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and one project by the Ningbo Municipal Natural Science Foundation. He has also participated in two National Natural Science Foundation projects, one National Key Research and Development Program project, one Ningbo 3315 Innovation Team project, two Ningbo Major Science and Technology Special Projects, as well as several other national and provincial/ministerial-level projects. He has published over 30 SCI-indexed papers in high-level academic journals such as the Journal of Energy Storage, Applied Energy, Energy, and Energy & Fuels, including three globally highly cited papers. He has authored one English academic monograph, and has applied for and been granted more than ten patents and software copyrights. He has received the Mann Redmayne Medal Best Paper Award from the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) of the UK, as well as the First Prize and Gold Award in the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Competition.
