Project Introduction:
The marine economy is currently experiencing rapid growth, but daily inspections of offshore engineering projects face problems brought by traditional manual inspection methods, such as high costs, high risks, and long inspection periods. Traditional technologies are not only inefficient but also have poor adaptability under harsh marine conditions. There is an obvious technological gap in the field of intelligent offshore inspection equipment, and efficient, accurate, and harsh-environment-resistant unmanned solutions are urgently needed.
Ningbo Haigong Zhijian Technology Co., Ltd. independently developed the “Haiqing No.1” intelligent marine engineering inspection equipment based on unmanned vessel-aircraft collaboration. The unmanned vessel provides automatic charging, signal relay, and protection from wind and waves for the unmanned aircraft. The unmanned aircraft is equipped with high-precision inspection instruments to autonomously scan the external structures of offshore wind turbines and conduct fault imaging.
The vessel-aircraft collaborative inspection model overcomes the limitations of a single unmanned aircraft, including short endurance and weak resistance to wind and waves. Compared with traditional methods, the inspection efficiency is improved by approximately 70%, and fault detection accuracy is improved by more than 60%.
The Faculty of Maritime and Transportation has always attached great importance to the cultivation of students’ innovation and entrepreneurship abilities. In the future, the Faculty will make every effort to prepare for competitions such as the China International College Students’ Innovation Competition and the “Challenge Cup” China Youth Science and Technology Innovation “Unveiling the List and Taking Command” Competition. Through competitions, the Faculty aims to promote learning through competition and improve students’ innovation and practical abilities through challenges, striving for excellent results.
