Chen Tao, male, Ph.D., Yao ethnic, member of the China Association for Promoting Democracy, has long been dedicated to research on clean combustion technologies for engines. In March 2024, he joined the China Automotive Technology and Research Institute (Ningbo) Co., Ltd., serving as a R&D engineer. In September 2024, he became a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Aerospace Science and Technology/Ningbo Research Institute of Northwestern Polytechnical University. In August 2026, he joined the College of Marine Science and Technology at Ningbo University. He has published over 20 academic papers (including one SCI paper as the first author with an impact factor exceeding 16, featured in renowned journals such as Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews in the energy-fuel category, Energy, Fuel, Renewable Energy, and the mainstream journal Applied Thermal Engineering in the thermal engineering field). He has received the National Scholarship for Graduate Students, the President's Scholarship, and the "Outstanding Graduate of Tianjin University" honor certificates.
