Embodied Artificial Intelligence in Transportation System Optimization
Associate Research Fellow (special appointment) at Ningbo University. He received his B.E. from the Mao Yisheng College / School of Transportation and Logistics, Southwest Jiaotong University, and his Ph.D. from the College of Transportation Engineering, Tongji University. He subsequently undertook postdoctoral research at the University of Hong Kong.
His current research and teaching focus on connected and automated vehicle traffic control, cooperative control of air–ground transportation systems, and human–vehicle interaction. He serves as Principal Investigator for projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Young Scientists Fund), the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation (Exploration Young Scientists Fund), the Zhejiang Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Program, and the Fundamental Research Funds for Provincial Universities of Zhejiang. As a key member, he has participated in Key Program, General Program, and Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as key R&D projects of Zhejiang Province and international science and technology cooperation projects of Ningbo. He has published over 30 papers in leading transportation journals such as Transportation Research Part series (including one ESI Highly Cited Paper), and has presented at numerous academic conferences including WCTR, TRB, WTC, and CICTP. He is a Youth Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering and serves as a reviewer for dozens of SCI- and EI-indexed journals in the transportation field. He holds 4 software copyrights and has co-authored 2 enterprise standards. He has supervised students to win national first, second, and third prizes in the National College Students Transportation Science and Technology Competition, and first prizes in the National College Students Logistics Design Competition.
