Fu Wang, Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor. He received his B.Eng. degree in Thermal Energy and Power Engineering from Tianjin University in 2011 and obtained his Ph.D. degree in Thermal Energy Engineering from Tianjin University in 2017. He conducted postdoctoral research and served as a visiting scholar at Mälardalen University, Sweden. He is currently a core member of the Ningbo “3315 Innovation Team”, and has been selected as a Leading and Distinguished Talent of the Yongjiang Talent Program of Ningbo, a Ningbo Young Science and Technology Innovation Leading Talent, and a participant in the International Clean Energy Outstanding Innovative Talent Training Program supported by the China Scholarship Council (CSC).
His research focuses on new energy marine power systems and energy management, solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) system integration, marine carbon capture, and clean energy utilization. In response to the development demands of low-carbon and zero-carbon marine propulsion systems, he has carried out extensive research on energy management and system optimization of integrated fuel cell–energy storage–conventional propulsion hybrid systems. He has achieved a series of innovative results in the areas of marine new energy system architecture design, reversible solid oxide fuel cell system integration, and coordinated control of multi-energy microgrids. He has proposed thermodynamic analysis methodologies and advanced energy management strategies for multi-energy coupled power systems, providing theoretical foundations and technical solutions for the efficient operation of next-generation green marine power systems.
He has led more than 10 national, provincial, municipal, and industry-sponsored research projects, including sub-projects under the National Key Research and Development Program of China and projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). He has published more than 80 peer-reviewed papers in journals such as Journal of Marine Science and Application, Journal of Dalian Maritime University, and Ship Science and Technology, including 2 highly cited papers. His publications have received more than 2,400 citations according to Google Scholar, with an H-index of 26. He has applied for more than 40 patents, including more than 20 granted Chinese invention patents.
