Chen Yuehua is a Professor, PhD, and Doctoral Supervisor at Ningbo University. He is the Director of the Ningbo University Branch of the National Metrology Data Construction and Application Base (Marine Power Equipment) (under preparation) and a leading talent of Ningbo City. In 2025, he was selected as a national Chinese expert for the ASEF Underwater Radiated Noise Technical Working Group accredited by the IMO. He has presided over more than 30 national, provincial, and municipal research projects, including defense and marine fundamental research programs, as well as industrial cooperation projects. He has won multiple provincial and municipal science and technology awards, proposed innovative structural dynamic modeling and acoustic coupling methods, and developed new marine noise reduction devices. He has supervised a number of graduate students, whose graduates pursue doctoral degrees in key universities or work in well-known acoustic and high-tech enterprises.
