讲座题目：Lane-based optimization for coordinated traffic signal and networkconfiguration designs
报告人简介: Dr. CK Wong graduated from The University of Hong Kong (Civil Engineering) is now teaching at City University of Hong Kong and research areas are in traffic signal design and optimization, accident preventions in railway system and signalized intersections, sound and noise measurement for transportation system, construction site layout planning and optimization of lift control. He was awarded the Croucher Foundation Fellowship (2006-2008) studying at University College London. Traffic signal and network configuration design for a network system to be presented is the results from a General Research Fund (GRF) project supported by the Research Grant Council (RGC) in Hong Kong SAR.
讲座内容简介: The present study will combine the geometrical junction layoutand signal controls for designing equilibrium signal-controlled network. Feasible vehiclepaths/routeings connecting different origin and destination locations in an urban networkwill depend on the junction geometric aspects, connectivity of consecutive junctions,traffic lane usages, and permitted (or ban) turns on approach lanes at junctions.
